“I’m not afraid for Mike at all.”
4-weight world champion and the final man to share the ring with Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr, has given his battle prediction.
Talking on the newest episode of talkSPORT Boxing, Jones Jr was requested if Tyson will win towards Jake Paul.
To which he mentioned: “IMHO, if Jake Paul fought Tommy Fury, how the hell are you going to beat Mike Tyson?”
He later added: “You can’t beat Tommy Fury and a guy who hasn’t been world champion, how are you going to beat Mike Tyson, who is the youngest heavyweight champion of all time?
“For me, that is my opinion, I do not see that taking place.
“Now, this is the Hollywood we live in today, social media is about Hollywood, it’s about what happens, who makes the most money.
“That mentioned, it is arduous to say what’s actually going to occur.
“But I think we actually know that a real Mike Tyson, even at 60, still destroys Jake Paul at 27, at 25 and at 23, no matter how old he is.”
Jones Jr totally believes that Tyson can deal with something Paul throws at him, and continued: “I’m not afraid for Mike at all.
“Once I fought Mike 4 years in the past, in rounds six, seven and eight, Mike was simply as lively as he was in rounds one, two and three, as a result of they have been two-minute rounds, in order that’s excellent for Mike.”
